The Few. The Proud. The Marines.

We had a fun, yet busy week last week, visiting Indianapolis, IN on Monday and Tuesday, then heading over to Chicago, IL for the rest of the week.

We would like to thank all of the schools we visited: George Washington Community High School, Northwest Community High School, George Washington High School, Curie High School, and Thornton Fractional North High School for being incredible hosts and for letting us hang out with and speak to your bright students!

Our week consisted of indoor and outdoor shows, depending on the weather (Chicago sure lives up to its nickname, “The Windy City”), the new addition of professional BMX athlete Alex Landeros, and a lot of quality student/Marine interaction.

The Marines have been a long-time sponsor of ours and we truly love working with them. Their mission is strong and powerful:

“The Marine Corps has been America’s expeditionary force in readiness since 1775. We are the forward deployed to respond swiftly and aggressively in times of crisis. We are soldiers of the sea, providing forces and detachments of naval ships and shore operations. We are global leaders, developing expeditionary doctrine and innovations that set the example, and leading other countries’ forces and agencies in multinational military operations. These unique capabilities make us “First to Fight,” and our nation’s first line of defense.” – http://www.marines.com

Students always enjoy the time they get to personally speak with the Marines, ask questions, try the Marines pull-up bar challenge, and receive giveaways.

The ASA Entertainment High School Tour would not be the same without the support of the U.S. Marine Corps!
